PARKING RULES & REGULATIONS

2. Parking areas upon the Association’s property shall be used only by residents of Sandalfoot Squire Phase II Association and their guests and invitees.

3. For purposes of this rule, the term “Condominium” will apply to Sandalfoot Squire Building One, Sandalfoot Squire Building Two, Sandalfoot Squire Building Eight and Sandalfoot Squire Building Nine Condominiums, which are all a part of the Association.

4. The parking areas governed by the Association will be used in common by all of the Condominium owners and tenants in the Sandalfoot Squire Phase II Association Community.

5. The Association’s parking areas include assigned Owner parking as well as guest parking spaces.

6. No Owner, tenant or guest may park in a parking space that has been assigned to another Owner.

7. Each Unit has one (1) assigned parking space and the assigned parking space is for the exclusive use of the Owner of the Unit to which the parking space is assigned. Only Owners or tenants of the Unit may park in the Unit’s assigned parking space.

8. Vehicles such as motorcycles, mopeds, scooters may be parked in parking areas, but must provide reinforcement materials under the kickstand to avoid making holes in the pavement.

9. Only one vehicle can be parked per parking space even if the parking space can fit more than one vehicle (no squeezing of cars+moped within a single parking space).

10. All vehicles parked on the Association’s property must be in good condition and in a good state of repair. No vehicle which cannot operate on its own power shall remain on the Association’s property or within an assigned or guest parking space for more than 48 hours, and no major repair of any vehicle of shall be made upon the Association’s property, including without limitation, in an assigned or guest parking space, except in an emergency. Jump starting and/or changing of flat tires shall be considered an emergency. Replacing the oil or brakes is not allowed.

11. No vehicle washing shall be allowed unless in the designated washing area.

12. No vehicle shall be parked other than in areas designated for parking. No vehicle shall be parked on any lawn or grassed area, sidewalks, curbs, landscaped area, dumpsters, traffic lanes, any area not striped and marked for parking.

13. No parking space, sidewalk, driveway or fire lane can be blocked at any time. This rule shall apply even if other space is assigned to the Owner who is blocking the parking space. Vehicles shall not obstruct or block traffic, the entrance to the community, grass, or sidewalks.

14. All vehicles must be parked “head in” only, except with the express written permission of the Board of Administration (No backing into spaces.)

15. No loud or modified muffler vehicles shall be allowed.

16. No vehicle shall be allowed to drip oil or other hydro-carbons onto the parking areas.

17. Any vehicle parked on Sandalfoot Squire Phase II Association property must reflect a proper current registration and license plate in the proper license position.

18. The Association’s roadways and parking lots may not be used for giving or receiving driver training.

19. Vehicles are not permitted to create any noise nuisance to the community (i.e., excess horn  blowing, loud audio equipment, etc.)

20. Non-resident vehicles may not be stored on community property for more than 24 hours, unless a valid guest decal has been obtained and is displayed on the vehicle, or registered online as indicated on the Association’s website at sandalfootsquire.com/guest-parking-registration.

21. Car protective covers are not allowed to be placed over any vehicle at any time.

22. Parking in front of no parking areas is prohibited.

23. All vehicles parked on Sandalfoot Squire Phase II Association property must display a properly placed and valid resident decal in the driver side rear window or a visitor pass at all times. Any vehicle that does not have a valid decal or it wasn’t registered as a guest may be subject to booting and / or towing at the owner’s expense.

24. All owners and tenants shall have 30 days from the receiving of this Rule to register their vehicles and disclose their assigned parking spaces to the Board of Directors. Every conforming vehicle that is properly registered will receive a parking decal. At the expiration of the 30-day registration period, any vehicle that does not properly display an Owner or tenant parking decal, as applicable, shall be subject to being booted or towed by the Association’s at the vehicle owner’s sole cost and expense. The Association shall not be liable to the owner of such vehicle for trespass, conversion or otherwise, nor guilty of any criminal act, by reason of such towing.

25. Any guest of an Owner or tenant must obtain a guest parking decal in advance of parking in a guest parking space. Any guest vehicle that does not properly display a permit or was not registered online shall be subject to being booted or towed by the Association’s at the vehicle owner’s sole cost and expense. The Association shall not be liable to the owner of such vehicle for trespass, conversion or otherwise, nor guilty of any criminal act, by reason of such towing.

26. Any nonconforming vehicle or vehicle in violation of the Declaration or this rule and regulation shall be subject to being booted or towed by the Association’s at the vehicle owner’s sole cost and expense. The Association shall not be liable to the owner of such vehicle for trespass, conversion or otherwise, nor guilty of any criminal act, by reason of such towing. In addition, the Association shall have all of its rights remedies under the Declaration and Florida law, including without limitation, the power to impose a fine for any parking violations.
